IoTalentum - H2020 MSCA ITN European Training Network on IoT

The 8th IoTalentum Network Meeting took place on 15–16 May 2024 at the headquarters of Wind Tre in Mestre, Venice (Italy). This meeting brought together project beneficiaries, partner organizations, and Early-Stage Researchers (ESRs) for a strategic two-day session focused on scientific progress, cross-sector collaboration, and future deliverables.

The agenda combined high-level project coordination sessions—covering management, training, dissemination, and communication—with a full series of research presentations by ESRs. A featured conference by cybersecurity expert Samant Khajuria (Terma A/S) enriched the programme by introducing defense-sector innovation as a complementary perspective for IoT research. In parallel, various boards (Ethics, IPR and Data, Dissemination and Exploitation) held dedicated sessions to ensure the alignment of outputs with project standards.

The second day was devoted to reviewing the progress of each work package (WPs), preparing scientific contributions, and aligning communication strategies. The event concluded with a final consortium review and Supervisory Board meeting, reaffirming the project’s roadmap towards completion. The setting in Venice, together with a dedicated social dinner, fostered further cohesion among the network.
