3rd Network Meeting in Eindhoven: becoming a big family
In line with one of the key objectives of IoTalentum project, the European Training Network on the Internet of Things, the face-to-face meeting took place on 4th – 8th July 2022 in TU/e Eindhoven.
Such meetings form an essential component of the IoTalentum project implementation. One-week long programme comprised all-consortium activities, including all beneficiaries and the partner organisations involved in WP1 (Infraestructure).
Among the objectives of a variety of activities, the Consortium meeting reviewed the management and implementation of the project. However, the principal training and educational activities are regularly aimed at the Early Stage Researchers (ESRs), doctoral students. In that sense, specialised workshop offered within the ESR-oriented part of the programme were focused on IoT Infrastructures: Networks and Computing (TTW1) and Ethics and Scientific Integrity (C17); high-level training for the IoTalentum researchers.
Thanks to everyone's efforts, we finally managed to complete the research team and had the opportunity to meet the new additions to the network. During this event, almost all ESRs got to know each other a little better and met all the institutions, supervisors and research teams involved in the IoTalentum network.
And here is the IoTalentum Consortium and the new generation of excellent IoT applied researchers (ESRs) to carry out Ph.D. thesis within the IoTalentum project.
We hope you all enjoyed the meeting as much as we did, so again, we thank all partners, participants, and members of Partner Organisations for their active presence at the meeting. Last but not least, our appreciation belongs to the TU/e team - TU/e Terahertz Photonic Systems Research Group, led by Idelfonso Tafur Monroy, for the excellent organization of the event.
The fourth network-wide training and working event it is scheduled to be held at the Technical Faculty of IT and Design at Aalborg University (AAU), Denmark in October 2022. More details soon!!
